Management Information Systems (MIS)

 
This is a one-week training course and it can be offered as an in-house course or at location of your own convenience; the contents can easily be adapted to your specific organisational needs.

This course is a joint undertaking with SEC and we can offer
offer as well proposals for your hardware requirements at the same time!

=> Please note this is not a ‘programmers’ workshop

=> Basic technical and computer knowledge would be an advantage

 Identification and clarification of central processes and communicating them in the system.

 MIS & Knowledge Management Systems, their definition and features.

 Identification of responsibilities at the various levels of the MIS.

 General hard- and software requirements.

 Database-systems (incl. data- and information-flow; data collection and maintenance;
.reporting based on the data in the MIS).

 Training requirements

 Cost-, time-estimates and risks for a MIS.

Action-plan, introducing a MIS.
